yep. back in school. thought i'd ought to commemorate the even with a journal update. blegh. what a rat's race. seriously. i didn't even have the chance to do very much over the summer and now it's gone.

pretty much only got sketches at this point. mom spilt dishsoap on my tablet and stylus. HOPEFULLY it still works. it wasn't a ajor spill but some might have gone into the gap between the "eraser" and the pen which could render the eraserpart of the stylus useless. i rather like that function... the soap also got on my sketchbook but just mostly on the cover and the bottom portion. thankfully i usually don't fill the entire bottom of any given page.

that thar bunny board, the next colorful thing to be done, is pretty much 50% and i still hesitate on it. i figured out that grass and i aren't the best of friends and that i should probably have thought about the fact that black GLOSSY spray paint has extremely low adhesion. common sense right? heh. wrong. so many worlds of wrong. why that never occurred to me in the first place is BEYOND me.

...maybe that's why they say college is a necessity these days. it's not so much so that you learn things for your job. it's so you learn the common sense that comes with it. now if only they paid me for it.

oh and does anyone else have problems with the mood changer thingy down there? it's not all nicely laid out and telling me which is which. so pretty much the mood you see up there is random and may or may not represent me at any given time. : D

EDIT

So I've been pondering this for a long time and finally decided to try this out. I may not finish it, just like the other one, but I hope to expand my horizons at the very least. XD

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Draw each and every one of the animals on this list. There is no time limit. It doesn't have to be in order, it doesn't even have to be anthro/humanoid. It doesn't even really have to be fully colored, it can be a pencil sketch if you'd prefer. Just give them a try. Not only will you push yourself in the process, you will learn about more of the amazing and exciting animals this world has to offer! Feel free to post this in your journal or webpage to show your progress, share it with friends, or simply use for inspiration. Some of these WILL be difficult, but you can do it! I tried not to make any of these so obscure that they wouldn't have much information or pictures of them. Some of these are also extinct, but all of them have artistic interpretations and pictures of their skeletons available on the internet or in books.
